Frequently Asked Questions

How often do you clean windows?

We operate on a 4-weekly schedule. This helps us maintain a consistent standard and keep our service reliable.

Do you clean frames and sills?

Yes — frames and sills are included as standard on every visit.

Why are some of my windows streaky after the first clean?

During the first clean, we carry out a deep clean to remove built-up dirt from frames, sills, and vents.
This can sometimes run onto the glass and cause temporary streaking.

This is normal and does not happen with regular cleaning, once the build-up has been removed.

Do my windows really need cleaning every 4 weeks if they aren’t really dirty?

This is exactly our goal. During your first visit, we carry out a deep clean to remove heavy build-up of dirt.

We then maintain this level of cleanliness through a regular 4-weekly service.

Even if the windows don’t appear very dirty, regular cleaning prevents build-up and keeps them consistently at a high standard.

If cleaning is done less frequently, dirt begins to accumulate again, making it harder to maintain the same overall result.

Do you clean in the rain?

Yes. Light rain does not affect the cleaning process or the final result.
We only reschedule in unsafe weather conditions.

How do I pay?

Payment is due on the day of service and should be made within 7 days.
Payment details are provided on your payment slip.

What happens if I don’t pay on time?

Late or incorrect payments may result in suspension or cancellation of service.

Do I need to be at home?

No. As long as we have access to your windows, you do not need to be at home.

What if I’m not happy with the result?

Please let us know within 24 hours.
We will review the issue and take appropriate action if needed.

Do you clean vents and trickle vents?

Yes, these are included.
As they are often heavily soiled, they may cause temporary streaking on the first clean.

Do you clean windows with tap water?

No. We use a pure water system, not standard tap water.

Our water is purified using reverse osmosis and deionisation (DI), producing 000 ppm pure water.

We can also produce pure water on the go, meaning we can convert tap water into purified water while working if needed.

Pure water dries clear, leaving a spot-free finish with regular cleaning.

Why are you using my outside tap?

Occasionally, we may use an outside tap to top up our system and continue working without delays.

All water is fully purified before use, so the quality of the clean remains the same.

My windows look dirty after a regular clean — what happened?

This is extremely unlikely during regular cleans. In over 15 years of operation, we have not encountered this issue.

However, in rare cases, a temporary issue with the water purification system could affect the result.

If this happens, please notify us within 24 hours, so we can investigate and resolve it.

Why do you need my number and will it be shared with anyone?

We need a valid mobile number to send service updates and important information.

This helps us keep the service running smoothly.

We do not share your details with anyone. Your information is only used for communication related to our service.

Why do you not offer traditional window cleaning?

We moved away from traditional window cleaning over 10 years ago as the industry has evolved.

The pure water system is more efficient, safer, and—when used correctly—provides a better, longer-lasting result.

It also allows us to clean frames, sills, and vents as standard, delivering a more complete and consistent service.

For these reasons, we focus on a modern approach that supports reliable, high-quality results over time.

Can I skip a clean?

As we operate on a fixed 4-week schedule, skipping cleans is not part of our standard service.

Regular cleaning is important to maintain results and keep our rounds running efficiently.

Do prices ever change?

Yes. We review our prices annually, in line with the new tax year.

This allows us to keep up with rising costs and maintain the quality of our service.
Customers are always notified in advance of any changes.

How do I cancel the service?

You can cancel at any time by sending us a text message.

We ask for clear notice so we can manage our schedule effectively.

Do you offer one-off cleans?

No. Our service is designed as a regular maintenance service, not one-off visits.

Why do you only offer 4-weekly cleans?

Less frequent cleans make it difficult to maintain quality and keep our schedule efficient.
A 4-week cycle ensures better results and reliable service.

What if access is blocked?

Please make sure we have clear access to your windows.
If we are unable to carry out the clean, the visit may still be chargeable.
